The Trackroom Rules

Five small agreements that keep this place kind, creative, and obsessed with music in the best possible way.

  1. Rule 01

Music is personal. Respect the space.

This is a place for people to share their personal soundtracks, lyric breakdowns, and emotional attachments to music. Disagreeing on an album or a lyric’s meaning is completely fine — music is subjective!

But gatekeeping, elitism, or mocking someone’s taste isn’t welcome here. Let people love what they love.

  2. Rule 02

Credit the artists. No piracy or leaks.

We are here to celebrate music and the people who make it.

    • Share lyrics, album art, reviews, and links to official streaming platforms.
    • Do not post download links to leaked music, unreleased tracks without permission, or pirated files.

Keep it supportive of the creators.

  3. Rule 03

    Keep the social feed kind.

While your profile is your personal diary, the comment sections and social feeds are shared community spaces.

Zero tolerance: harassment, hate speech, bullying, discrimination, or targeted toxicity will result in an immediate ban.

If a conversation gets heated, take a breath, log off, and go listen to your favorite track instead.

  4. Rule 04

    Content warnings for heavy lyrics.

Music often deals with intense, heavy, or sensitive life themes — mental health, loss, trauma.

If you are breaking down lyrics or writing a post that dives deep into triggering topics, please add a brief [Content Warning] tag at the top of your post so community members can browse safely.

  5. Rule 05

No spam, bots, or self-promo flooding.

We want to see your authentic music journey. Don’t flood the feed with repetitive self-promotion, follow-for-follow requests, or bot-like behavior.

If you’re a musician sharing your own work, do it organically through your profile and genuine community interactions.
